Edelis and Joey’s Wedding @ The Hilton Fort Lauderdale

I don’t even know where to start with this post.  It was a wonderful, typically hispanic,  loud and happy wedding. It rained, but not on the parade - that’s for sure! The Ceremony had to be held inside but that didn’t diminish a bit the emotions and feelings of Edelis, Joey and the whole family. There was so much excitement and nervousness, people coming and going, everybody talking at the same time, few people listening, it was madness!…They’re from New York but  I think the South Florida heat did it’s magic. It was delicious, like a  movie… the proud father, the mother telling stories of when she was little, all the kids and teens trying to behave without much success, and overall…a great feeling of love, of people united to celebrate a great occasion! I loved it all!

I loved being part of their day. Edelis’ energy and charisma made it a great pleasure to work with her. Plus she looked great in her wedding gown and “chicken cage” head piece - I can’t ever remember bird cage :))  Joey looked like a GQ ad from head to toe, a little bit nervous, but so handsome!  To me the best of all is that their happiness was obvious and contagious. The ceremony was full of laughs and a couple of tears, the party was a total success, even I danced a couple od songs. It was a great wedding. The way weddings should be!

All the best for  the two of you guys. We love you!

Jackie.

Engagement-photos-Las-Olas-Fort Lauderdale

I believe that having fun together is one of the secrets to have a great marriage. Edelys and Joey are cute, they’re stylish and they have so much fun together. We didn’t have much time, but the short time we spent walking and talking around the now abandoned Riverfront was a refreshing reminder on how to be happy. They certainly are. I’m posting a few shot of this session because tomorrow I’ll be posting their wedding shots.

Jocelyn & Dave’s Wedding Day in Hollywood

I have to start this blog a little bit different than the others. Jocelyn and Dave knock my socks off. During our engagement session, I mean - theirs, they were serious and cautios and finally ended up loosening towards the end and we all had  good time. Well I thought it was our charm, but really they are so much fun - they totally rock!!!  We started our day at the Marriot where our beautiful bride was ready and in his bridal undies… so sexy!!! but I know she’ll kill me if I post those photos, so no. I won’t.

They had  a truly beautiful ceremony at the Nativity Catholic Church- and it really was beautiful since it was personal. The priests knew them and their families and there was a lady singing like the angels. Anyway, so after the ceremony we escaped with them to the beach and then back to the hotel for a super fun reception.

We had plenty of good images and try to keep to a sensible number for the blog was really hard and I just made it to the introductions. So here are some teasers of Jocelyn and Dave that ended up being one of the most fun and super nice couples of the year!

I hope you’re having fun in C.R.

Yvette & Henry’s engagement session in Fort Lauderdale

Parks and alleys in FLL were the place of choice for Yvette and Henry. We headed to Las Olas in a beautiful Sunday morning and the weather was beautiful. We couldn’t ask for more. Both of them are fun and sweet. It’s a pleasure to work with them. Here are some images. I’ll be posting some more from their wedding. Shame on me -wedding just happened. I already have my favorites but for now enjoy this post.

Olga and Sam’s Fort Lauderdale wedding

Olga and Sam kicked off the new year with a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Atlantic Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. One of our record cold evenings this year, the heaters took off some of the chill, and everyone danced to keep warm and had a terrific time celebrating.
