I don’t even know where to start with this post. It was a wonderful, typically hispanic, loud and happy wedding. It rained, but not on the parade - that’s for sure! The Ceremony had to be held inside but that didn’t diminish a bit the emotions and feelings of Edelis, Joey and the whole family. There was so much excitement and nervousness, people coming and going, everybody talking at the same time, few people listening, it was madness!…They’re from New York but I think the South Florida heat did it’s magic. It was delicious, like a movie… the proud father, the mother telling stories of when she was little, all the kids and teens trying to behave without much success, and overall…a great feeling of love, of people united to celebrate a great occasion! I loved it all!
I loved being part of their day. Edelis’ energy and charisma made it a great pleasure to work with her. Plus she looked great in her wedding gown and “chicken cage” head piece - I can’t ever remember bird cage :)) Joey looked like a GQ ad from head to toe, a little bit nervous, but so handsome! To me the best of all is that their happiness was obvious and contagious. The ceremony was full of laughs and a couple of tears, the party was a total success, even I danced a couple od songs. It was a great wedding. The way weddings should be!
All the best for the two of you guys. We love you!
Jackie.

I believe that having fun together is one of the secrets to have a great marriage. Edelys and Joey are cute, they’re stylish and they have so much fun together. We didn’t have much time, but the short time we spent walking and talking around the now abandoned Riverfront was a refreshing reminder on how to be happy. They certainly are. I’m posting a few shot of this session because tomorrow I’ll be posting their wedding shots.
