Arlene & Tony step back in time for this vintage session.

I like trying to figure out people’s style and photo personality and boy, do I get it right. When she told me that Tony liked working on antique cars my mouth just watered with the idea of shooting a vintage style session. Well she loved the idea and in less than a week she and Tony put together the whole production and we were delighted. She carries herself with confidence and reassurance, how sexy is that! And Tony plays along so well with his mafioso look. Great people who know how to have fun. We’re so looking forward to the wedding. Thanks guys, you rock!

Ethan Bortnick in Hollywood, FL

Bill and I had the unexpected pleasure to capture young pianist Ethan Bortnick’s performance at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center this last Sunday. The show was sold out but that’s no surprise since Ethan is from Hollywood, FL.

He’s a very talented pianist and entertainer. At his old ripe age of 7, he’s succeeded in making jokes and keeping the crowd laughing and singing along. He’s adorable and so fun, “amazing” to use what seems to be his favorite word.

Patty and Jorge’s wedding day

When we met Patty and Jorge we hit it off right away. We have a thing for enthusiastic, happy, loving people. I couldn’t help but falling in love with them. Such enthusiasm and good vibes are contagious and makes working with them so much fun. They had everything carefully planned and being both creative people that means a lot of beautiful little details. The ceremony at St. Hugh Catholic Church was the more traditional event of the day. She was a gorgeous, modern bride with a fabulous gown and a head piece out of this world, perfect make up and red shoes to match Jorge’s red argyle socks. During the cocktail and reception they attended with care all of their guests. They had something for everyone - a portrait artist, a cigar roller, and plenty of little details around the beautifully decorated Club of Knights in Coral Gables. Tall flower arrangements, special lighting and personal decorations made it a very beautiful night. The DJ and the cuban drummer made the party even more fun. For gifts they requested donations to their favorite charity Paws 4 you.

Lesley & Paul at The Douglas Entrance

Their joy is contagious and they are cheerful and a little mischievous too. They enjoyed their day to the fullest and I can tell thay’re going to smile for a while looking at the photos. Who said that you can’t have your cake and eat didn’t know about them. They ate their cake and also rub a little of it on each other faces. They’re definitely a great couple, unique, a little crazy and most of all genuinely happy. Look at the photos and smile a little too. All the events took place at the beautiful Douglas Entrance.

Luisa & Asad at The Deering Estate

The beautiful blue skies, the cool breezy evening, a rug of colorful petals making a path to the altar - every detail in place so colorful and so perfect were just the side of the story for Luisa and Asad. Eventhough they come from such different backgrounds they share that special something, that spark in their eyes when they find each other eyes across a room full of people.  They  enjoy each others presence and more than anything they have fun together. I guess they had lots fun in their honeymoon in Orlando. Luisa and Asad’s wedding was a wonderful event. I loved her gown -by Trudy’s in CA, gorgeous, it was perfectly paired with the white flower adorning her dark hair. The bridesmaids dresses from J. Crew were so fun too,  in a coral color were a great original idea.  All catering, decor and coordination by Maggie from Fetes & Fetes.
